Toyo University, Japan – Fall Semester 2026

Chiang Mai University (CMU) is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for its students to participate in the Student Exchange Program at Toyo University, Japan, during the Fall Semester 2026.
This program offers CMU students a chance to study abroad and experience Japanese culture and academic life in Tokyo.
📅 Program Period
The exchange program is scheduled to run from September 2026 to January 2027.
👩🎓 Eligibility
The program is open to both Undergraduate and Graduate students of Chiang Mai University, provided they meet the following criteria:
- Must have studied at Chiang Mai University for at least one (1) semester and be able to submit an academic transcript.
- Must possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.50 or higher.
- Must demonstrate language proficiency (one of the following):
- Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) score of N3 or higher.
- English proficiency score of CEFR Level B2 or higher.
💰 Financial Information
Successful applicants selected to participate in the exchange program will receive a Tuition Fee Waiver from Toyo University. All other expenses, including living costs, travel, insurance, and administrative fees, must be borne by the student.
