- IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
Purpose: IELTS is usually used for studying or working aboard.
Format: The test consists of 4 parts: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
TOEFL has an Internet-based Test (iBT) and a Paper-based Test (PBT)
Purpose: TOEFL can be used for applying to international universities.

Purpose: TOEIC is mostly used for job applications which require English communication skills and the company usually offers the candidate an opportunity for future career growth.
