Students Explore Their Learning Styles at ISSC’s Study Skills Workshop

The International Student Services Center (ISSC) organized the “Learning Styles & Study Skills: Find out how you learn best!” workshop as part of the 21st Century Skills Program under the Soft Skill Enhancement Project, aimed at strengthening students’ global competencies and professional readiness. The workshop was held on 9 July 2025 at the VIP Reception Room 1, Office of the University 1, Chiang Mai University.
The program aimed to help students identify their preferred learning styles, enhance study techniques, and improve everyday communication skills. During the session, participants learned about different learning approaches and discussed their experiences in small groups. Each group then shared their perspectives and effective study strategies with others, promoting collaborative learning and the exchange of ideas.
Students who attended the workshop were highly enthusiastic and actively engaged throughout the activities. With over 20 participants, the event fostered a vibrant, supportive atmosphere and encouraged the development of effective study habits and communication skills. The program offered a valuable platform for sharing experiences, building confidence, and forming connections for future academic and professional success.
A student’s message about the program:
“I’ve joined ISSC workshops a few times now, and each one helps me improve my English and develop new skills through fun activities and meeting new friends. It’d be even more fun with more students joining next time!”
ISSC will continue to promote upcoming activities and encourage student participation.
