Navigating Cultures, Finding Connections: ISSC’s Latest Workshop Empowers International Students (24 July 2025)
The International Student Services Center (ISSC) continues its commitment to student development through the 21st Century Skills Program under the Soft Skill Enhancement Project. On Thursday, 24 July 2025, ISSC hosted the workshop Cultural Adjustment & You at the VIP Room, CMU Office, welcoming both Thai and international students for an engaging and practical session on cross-cultural adaptation.
The workshop offered tips, tools, and personal insights to help students navigate life in a new cultural environment with confidence and awareness. Through group discussions and guided reflection, participants explored common challenges and strategies for adjusting to a multicultural setting. The session also emphasized emotional resilience, cultural sensitivity, and the value of open-mindedness in building meaningful connections across diverse communities.
Students actively participated in the interactive segments, openly sharing their experiences and learning from one another in a supportive space. The event created a warm atmosphere that fostered understanding, connection, and mutual respect—key components of a truly inclusive university community.
