What is a Mobility Calendar?
The Mobility Calendar is a list of mobility programs, training programs and scholarships that are available each year starting from June. It is a list of programs open to Chiang Mai University students with some programs offering partial or full financial support.
How is the Mobility Calendar useful?
The Mobility Calendar is a collection of the most popular exchange programs and scholarships in brief. Students in the past have missed submitting their applications on time and so this calendar was created in order to give students an important overview of the mobility programs on offer.
How to use the Mobility Calendar
The Mobility Calendar provides the name of the mobility program or scholarship, hosted country, program announcement date, application deadline, number of students accepted, program dates, required qualifications, useful website links and financial support if available. Students should pay attention to the deadline and application process and give themselves plenty of time to prepare their application in order to avoid missing the deadline. Please note that most programs require the student to be nominated by their faculty, in such cases please contact the International Relations Officer at your faculty.
When Applying for a Program
The deadline is the most important date and is set by each host university. Usually the program requires the student to be nominated by their faculty, in such cases please contact your faculty’s International Relations Division, who will submit to the host university a short list of CMU students interested in the mobility program or scholarship.
Should you need more information regarding a program please contact the International Relations Officer at your faculty first; we don’t advise making direct contact with the main program coordinator at the host university, as this might lead to confusion concerning who are the nominated candidates.
You should also pay close attention to the application process. The documents that require time to be completed or issued should be addressed first in order to avoid delays in preparing your application. If you feel you cannot make the deadline please don’t make direct contact with the host university to negotiate an extension to the deadline, instead please contact the International Relations staff at your faculty who can help you find a solution.
