International STEM Olympiad & Battle of Robots 2026 is an international competition in STEM education and robotics that brings together talented school students, educators, and experts from Kazakhstan and around the world.

The Olympiad aims to promote innovation, creativity, and practical problem-solving through competitions in engineering, programming, 3D modeling, robotics, and other hands-on STEM challenges, while fostering international collaboration and the exchange of knowledge among young innovators.

🕒 Event Period

📅 Date: November 21–23, 2026

📍Venue: Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan

👨‍🎓 Eligibility

• High school students in Grades 8–11 or equivalent (Approximately 14–18 years old for high school participants) or College students with an interest in STEM, robotics, engineering, programming, and 3D modeling

• International teams are eligible to participate.

***Registration Fee: USD 100 per participant***

🏨 Support for International Participants

• Accommodation: Hotel accommodation throughout the Olympiad period

• Meals: Meals provided during the competition period

• Local Transportation: Transportation between the hotel and competition venue, including official event activities

• Airport Transfer: Airport transfer for participating delegations

• Visa Support: Official invitation letter/guidance for visa applications, where required

• Mentor/Team Support: Organizers provide assistance and coordination for international teams

Participants are responsible for: International/domestic travel costs, visa fees (if applicable), travel insurance, and personal robot equipment/tools.

• Battle of the Robots

• Drone Football

📝 Application / How to Apply

Step 1 — Form a Team

• Team Composition:
  – 2–3 students per team
  – Students should be from the same school/organization
  – Each team must be accompanied by a mentor/teacher or adult team leader
  – One mentor may accompany multiple teams

Step 2 — Build a Combat Robot

• Design and build a functional combat robot according to the competition requirements.

Step 3 — Prepare a 2-Minute Introduction Video

• The video should introduce the team and demonstrate the robot, including its features, design, and unique aspects.

Step 4 — Add Subtitles

• The video may be presented in any language but must include English, Kazakh, or Russian subtitles.

Step 5 — Upload the Video to YouTube

• The video may be Public or Unlisted but must be accessible without a password.

Step 6 — Prepare a Text Report

• The report should explain:
  – The work completed.
  – How the robot was prepared?
  – Robot components.
  – How the robot works?
  – Each team member’s role

Step 7 — Complete the Registration Form

• Submit the online registration form with team, participant, school/organization, mentor, and video information
