Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) is a research internship program hosted at higher education institutions in Canada.
It offers undergraduate students from Thailand the opportunity to conduct research under the supervision of university faculty across various academic disciplines
- Covering Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

🗓️ Program Period
- 12 weeks (between May 1 – October 31, 2027)
👨🏻🎓 Eligibility
- Full-time undergraduate student currently enrolled in a regular or combined Bachelor’s–Master’s degree program
- Cumulative GPA (GPAX) of at least 3.00
- Aged 18 or older at the time of application
- In year 2 or above (must not be in the final year of the degree program)
- Sufficient proficiency in English and/or French for effective communication
- Able to participate for the full designated duration (dates cannot be rescheduled)
- Have not previously received a Mitacs Globalink Research Internship award

- Official Academic Transcript (English)
- Copy of passport
- English Study Plan / Statement of Purpose (500 – 1,000 words)
- Proof of English or French language proficiency

- Direct applications to the International Relations Administration Center will not be accepted.
- Please check internal application deadlines with your affiliated faculty.
****For Faculties****
- Each faculty is requested to select one (1) qualified candidate and submit the official nomination along with the application documents to the International Relations Administration Center via the CMU e-Document system by August 31, 2026.
