Notice of OneDrive Storage Reduction for CMU Staff and Students

Chiang Mai University is announcing a reduction in OneDrive storage allocations for staff and students.

Current staff and students will have 15GB of OneDrive storage available.

Important Notice:

By June 30, 2024, all staff and students need to manage your storage not exceed the 15GB quota.

Effective July 1, 2024, any account exceeding the 15GB limit will be set to read-only mode, although you still be to back up your storage.

Effective August 1, 2024, any files on OneDrive exceeding the 15GB limit will be deleted.

You can continue using OneDrive 15GB of storage available.

How to back up OneDrive:

1. Install the OneDrive application on your desktop.
2. Log in using your CMU Account.
3. Drag or copy files from OneDrive to your desktop.

How to Check Your OneDrive Storage Usage:

1. Visit the website: https://onedrive.com
2. This shows an overview of the OneDrive storage.
3. Click on the usage value to view your detailed storage.
