📢 Call for Applications

The 2026 Shenzhen International FinTech Competition (FinTechathon) – International Track, hosted by Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance with WeBank, is now open for applications under the theme “AI as a Financial Participant.”

The competition provides a global platform for students to demonstrate their potential, exchange knowledge in AI-driven financial innovations to address real-world financial scenarios, and explore international career opportunities.

👨🏻‍🎓Eligibility and Teaming

• Open to full-time enrolled students (Undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. candidates) at overseas universities and research institutions (outside Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Chinese Taipei).

• Teaming: Teams of 2–5 students (cross-year, cross-major, cross-university, and cross-border collaborations welcomed). Each participant may join only one team across both tracks.

• Nationalities: To ensure international character, at least 60% of team members must be non-Chinese nationals.

🔥Competition Rules and Topics

• Official Language: English (for submissions, presentations, and reviews).

• Topics (Choose One of Six):
  • Topic A: Personal Finance Assistant
  • Topic B: Wealth Advisory Agent
  • Topic C: Cross-border & Student Finance Assistant
  • Topic D: Insurance Assistant
  • Topic E: SME Finance Copilot
  • Topic F: Agent Wallet (Autonomous On-chain Wallet – Includes 0–5 point challenge bonus)

✨Fees and Benefits

• Registration Fee: No registration fee (100% Free).

• International Track Prize Pool:RMB 250,000
  • First Prize (1): RMB 100,000
  • Second Prize (1): RMB 80,000
  • Third Prize (1): RMB 50,000
  • Best Innovation Award (1): RMB 20,000
  • Excellence Awards: Several

• Finalist Benefits: Accommodation and round-trip international travel for invited finalist members arranged and covered by the organizer.

• Career Fast-Track: Outstanding teams receive fast-track interview access to WeBank.
