Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) is accepting applications from faculty members and scholars in Southeast Asia for the Elite Scholarship Program for the Fall 2027 semester. The scholarship offers up to NT$25,000 per month for international programs (up to 2 years for Master’s degree and up to 3 years for Ph.D. degree).

🎯Objective

To support and provide funding for faculty members and university staff (lecturers/instructors) from Southeast and South Asian countries to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree at STUST in English-taught programs covering Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, and Design.

✨Benefits

• Selected recipients will receive a monthly stipend of 25,000 NTD💰 for a maximum duration of up to 3 years.

👤Eligibility

• Currently employed as a lecturer, instructor, or academic staff member at a higher education institution in Southeast Asia or South Asia.

• Interested in pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree in an English-taught program at STUST starting in the Fall 2027 semester.

📑Required Documents

• Admission Application Form (to be completed online)

• A copy of the applicant’s passport

• Photocopies of the highest diploma certificate and official transcripts for all academic years

• A study plan or statement of purpose written in English or Chinese

• Official financial proof verified by a Taiwanese embassy/consulate abroad or issued by a financial institution, demonstrating the ability to finance studies in Taiwan

• Health certificate
