International Student Service Center (ISSC) at CMU First meet First Step 2026

The International Student Service Center (ISSC), Chiang Mai University, participated in CMU First Meet First Step 2026, held on 20–21 June 2026 at the Multipurpose Ground of the Physical Education Building, Chiang Mai University.

The annual event welcomed new students and provided them with an opportunity to explore university services, academic resources, student organizations, and extracurricular activities. More than 100 booths from faculties, colleges, university offices, student clubs, and activity groups were showcased throughout the two-day event.

At the ISSC booth, visitors learned about the center’s services and support available for international students, including student mobility programs, upcoming cultural and social activities, and various workshops open to all CMU students. The booth also featured an interactive survey where students could share their interests and preferences regarding future activities and programs. Participants who completed the survey received complimentary souvenirs and prizes.

The ISSC booth attracted more than 400 student visitors over the two-day event. Students who completed the survey and joined the center’s Line Official Account (Line OA) received complimentary ice cream and exclusive CMU collectible souvenirs, creating a fun and engaging experience while encouraging student participation and feedback.

Participation in CMU First Meet First Step 2026 provided a valuable opportunity for ISSC to connect with new students and gain insights into their interests and expectations. The feedback collected will help guide the development of future programs and activities that better serve the needs of Chiang Mai University’s diverse student community.
