📢Call for Applications!

The University of Fukui, Japan, is accepting applications from students to participate in the Student Exchange Program, scheduled to take place in Japan from late March 2027.

🗓️Duration

• 1 semester or 1 academic year

👨🏻‍🎓Eligibility

The program is offered in the following two formats:

1) Program A: English-Taught Program 📚✍🏻

• Open exclusively to undergraduate students.

• Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to or higher than TOEFL PBT/ITP 500, TOEFL iBT 61, or TOEIC 600.

2) Program B: Japanese-Taught Program 📚✍🏻

• Open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as research students.

• Applicants must demonstrate Japanese proficiency equivalent to or higher than JLPT N2 or JPT 525.

✨Benefit

• Participants will receive a TUITION FEE WAIVER💰

(Other related expenses should be covered by participants, such as visa fees, travel, living costs, accommodation, etc.)

📝Required Application Documents

• Nomination Sheet — To be completed by the faculty/unit staff

• Letter of Recommendation (Form 2)

• Certificate of Health (Form 3)

• Certificate of Enrollment (Form 4)

• Certificate of Eligibility — Submitted in MS Excel format

• Bank Statement of the Applicant’s Financial Supporter — The bank statement must show a minimum balance of:

JPY 600,000 for a 6-month program; or JPY 1,100,000 for a 12-month program.

• Academic Transcript (CMR 91)

• Evidence of Language Proficiency

• ID Photo Data (4 cm × 3 cm)

• Copy of Passport
