
Chiang Mai University Welcomes Representatives from Kyoto University and Hosts Kyoto University Mini Fair 2026 to Promote International Study Opportunities
On 8 July 2026, Mrs. Kattima Prasityousil, Director International Relations Administration Center, Chiang Mai University (CMU), welcomed Prof. Eiji Nawata, Director of the Kyoto University ASEAN Center, accompanied by Ms. Reina Yamagami, Deputy Director, and Ms. Sumire Hagashimoto, Deputy Director, during their visit to Chiang Mai University to host the “Kyoto University Mini Fair 2026” at the CMU Main Library.


The event was organized to introduce students to the wide range of academic opportunities and student exchange programmes offered by Kyoto University. Participants received valuable information on exchange programmes, application procedures, and study opportunities, helping them better prepare for future academic pursuits in Japan.
The programme also featured experience-sharing sessions by students who had previously participated in exchange programmes at Kyoto University. Attendees gained valuable insights into academic life, daily living, and cultural experiences in Japan, inspiring students who are interested in pursuing international study opportunities.
The Kyoto University Mini Fair 2026 attracted a large number of students from various faculties across Chiang Mai University, reflecting the University’s strong commitment to internationalization and its ongoing efforts to expand global learning opportunities through partnerships with leading universities around the world.
