DUO-Sweden Fellowship Programme 2024/25: Call for Applications

General Description:

Established in 2010, the DUO-Sweden Fellowship Programme aims to foster academic exchanges between Sweden and 21 Asian countries. The program facilitates the exchange of a pair of students between educational institutions in Sweden and Asia.

Eligibility:

• To be eligible, the exchange must meet three criteria:
  1. A cooperative arrangement between a Swedish and an Asian educational institution.
  2. Selection of an EU national student by the Swedish institution and an Asian student by the Asian institution.
  3. Acceptance of the selections by both institutions.

Duration and Amount:

• The fellowship is for projects starting from August 2024 to end before September 2025.
• The duration is limited to one semester or 4 months, with standardized fellowship amounts:
  • High-income countries: €3,500 for each student.
  • Middle and low-income countries: €4,000 for the Asian student and €3,000 for the Swedish student.

Application Procedure:

• The Swedish educational institution applies on behalf of both institutions and students.
• Asian institutions must cooperate fully by providing accurate information.
• Applications are accepted from April 8 to May 21, 2024 (local Swedish time).
• Late applications will not be accepted.

Application Materials:

• Online application form (mandatory).
• Copy of cooperation agreement or declaration of intention to cooperate.
• Copy of passport and transcript for each applicant.

Submission:

• Access the online application form through the provided link.
• Complete the form, ensuring all required information is included.
• Upload additional documents at the end of the application process.
• After submission, await a confirmation email within 3 days. Contact admin2@asemduo.org if confirmation is not received.
