Exchange Program | Kyoto Seika University – Student Exchange Program 2027

📢Call for Applications!

The Kyoto Seika University, Japan, is accepting applications for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the “Student Exchange Program – Spring 2027”, scheduled to take place 1 Semester or 1 Academic year in Japan, start in Early April 2027.

👨🏻‍🎓Eligibility

• Have completed at least 1 semester of study and not be in their final year

• Must maintain student status throughout the program

• Have a minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.50

• Meet the program’s required Japanese language proficiency criteria

JLPT N2 required for: All majors in the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Manga (New Generation Manga, Character Design, Animation), and the Faculty of Media Creation (Media Communication).

JLPT N4 required for: Faculty of Design (Industrial Design) and Faculty of Art (Japanese Painting).

• Return to their home university to continue their study or acquire a degree

(Other related expenses should be covered by participants, such as visa fees, travel, living costs, accommodation, etc.)

• Application form

• Academic transcript 

• Recommendation letter

• Portfolio (Faculties of Art, Design, Manga, and Media Creation)

• Copy of Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Certificate of Result (Department of Humanities)

🚨We kindly requests each faculty to select one (1) qualified student (If nominating more than one person, please list them in order of preference.) and submit the nomination & the application documents via CMU e-Document to International Relations adminstration Center by October 12, 2026
