Chiang Mai University Launches Certified International Ambassador Program for 2024
On May 31, 2024, Chiang Mai University, through its International Relations Division, successfully organized a comprehensive training program at the Shangri-La Hotel in Chiang Mai. The program, designated as the Certified International Ambassador (CIAm 2024) program, was meticulously designed to enhance skills in international affairs and establish a robust network of university international representatives for the year 2024.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Assistant Professor Dr. Worakanya Buranaphatthana, Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University. Dr. Worakanya also delivered an insightful lecture on “The Implementation of the University’s International Missions,” underscoring the university’s strategic initiatives in the global academic arena.
A notable feature of the program was the participation of Mr. Pantajak Wongpreecha, CEO and Founder of The Diplomat Network, a distinguished expert in diplomacy and international relations. Mr. Wongpreecha delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “Global Trends in International Relations Today,” focusing on contemporary developments and the essential skills required for proficiency in international affairs.
The event also marked a significant milestone with the signing ceremony of an academic cooperation agreement between The Diplomat Network and Chiang Mai University. Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyanupap Anantana, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, and Mr. Pantajak Wongpreecha formalized the agreement. This strategic partnership is anticipated to advance the university’s international missions and sustainably expand international partnerships through innovative collaborations.
