The Hanyang ERICA Winter School (HEWS) is a two-week international program combining English-taught academic courses with Korean winter experiences, cultural trips, and on-campus accommodation.
🎯 Objective
- To provide international students with academic learning opportunities alongside exposure to Korean culture, society, and industry, as well as the chance to experience winter and build networks with student peers from around the world
📋Program Information
🗓️ Duration: January 17 (Sun) – January 31 (Sun), 2027
📍 Location: The Hanyang University ERICA Campus in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
📝 Format: Academic Course Track + Two Activities
- Academic Credits – Applicants can take up to 4 credits by selecting one 3-credit main course, with the option to add one 1-credit supplementary course.
- Activities Included – Korean Ski Experience + Everland theme park
🌍Language: Everything is taught in English, except the Korean language class.
✨ Program Fees & Benefit
- Partner University Student Rate: 1,700,000 KRW💰
Covers the application fee, tuition with on-campus housing, and two activities.
***Note: Meals, insurance, and travel/airfare costs must be covered by the applicant.***
Applicants wishing to receive Early Bird Discount of 100,000 KRW must

Review program details, schedule, fees, and select their preferred courses
➤ 2. Submit Online Application
Create an account and submit the online application via the HEWS 2026 system
➤ 3. Pay Program Fee
Pay the program fee according to the specified procedure and deadline
➤ 4. Student ID Number
Upon successful payment, applicants will receive a Student ID Number to register for their chosen courses following instructions from the host university
➤ 5. Prepare Before Travel
Apply for a visa (if required), purchase flight tickets, and obtain travel insurance
➤ 6. Start Program
Travel to participate in the program in the Republic of Korea
