Exchange Program | DiscoverNUS Semester 2 AY2026-27 (January–May 2027)
We are pleased to announce that nominations for DiscoverNUS Student Exchange Programme are now open.🎉
This exchange program from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, offers students the opportunity to explore and participate in an exchange programme at NUS. The programme also serves as preparation for students who are interested in pursuing a master’s degree at NUS under the NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship Programme.
✨The exchange programme will be held during January–May 2027 for one academic semester.
📝Benefit
- Tuition-Free Places: Selected nominees will receive a full tuition waiver.
- Access to On-Campus Housing: Guaranteed access/eligibility to stay in university accommodation.
- Financial Aid for Housing Costs: A limited amount of financial support for accommodation is available based on demonstrated financial need (requires a separate application and supporting documents).
👨🏻🎓Eligibility
✅️ Be a citizen of one of the ASEAN member states or Timor-Leste, including
( Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor- Leste, the Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam )
✅️ Have an outstanding GPA demonstrating strong academic performance.
✅️ Be enrolled in the 3rd – 5th year of their degree programme
( At the time of participating in the exchange programme at NUS. )
✅️ Have an official English language proficiency test score with a valid certificate.
( No minimum score requirement is specified in the programme guidelines. )
✅️ Meet the prerequisite requirements for the NUS courses they wish to enroll in.
✅️ Have actively participated in extracurricular activities throughout their studies, demonstrate leadership potential, and show a strong interest in pursuing a master’s degree at NUS.

(Please note that courses will be updated closer to the start of exchange application.)
Students interested in NUS Business School courses or a future Master’s degree must select Business as their area of study. Note that Economics is not part of the Business School, and business courses are restricted solely to Business applicants.
📝Required Documents
- A copy of the passport (Bio-data page)
- An official academic transcript in English.
- A Statement of Purpose describing the intended field of study at NUS.
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV)* in PDF format (maximum file size: 3 MB) *Must including the applicant’s official university email address.*
- A copy of an official Standardized English Proficiency Test Score Report.

🚨Direct application to International Relations adminstration Center will not be accepted.

🚨Chiang Mai University may nominate up to 10 students for the programme.
🚨We kindly requests each faculty or to nominate one qualified and well-prepared student, together with all required application documents, by 9 August 2026.
