ASEAN-Maybank Scholarship Info Session for Year 2026

The ASEAN-Maybank Scholarship programme is a partnership between Maybank Foundation and the ASEAN Secretariat. It is one of the ASEAN-level initiatives undertaken by Maybank Foundation, a newly accredited ASEAN entity, with the aim to “promote an innovative ASEAN approach to higher education”, which is one of the strategic measures listed in the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Blueprint 2025.

The scholarship programme is designed to provide young, talented, and deserving ASEAN nationals with full scholarships to pursue their undergraduate studies at prestigious universities listed under the ASEAN University Network (AUN), located outside their home countries within the ASEAN region, while promoting intra-ASEAN integration.

Requirements

To be eligible for the ASEAN-Maybank Scholarship, applicants must meet all the below requirements:

  • Citizenship: Open to nationals of all 10 ASEAN member states.
  • Eligibility for Undergraduate Studies:
      • Applicants intending to pursue undergraduate studies must have:
        • An acceptance letter from one of the up to 250 universities under the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and its associate universities.
        • A minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent during foundation studies.

    OR
      • Applicants currently in their first year of undergraduate studies must:
        • Be enrolled at one of the up to 250 universities under the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and its associate universities.
        • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
  • Academic and Extracurricular Excellence:
    • A strong academic record.
    • Active involvement in extracurricular activities.

The student learning information technology service corner with high quality computer and wireless network.

The main ITSC corner provides service to student with 1090 computers at nearby the library and 45 other facilities at the faculties and student dormitories and also new ITSC Corner Co-Working Space at 1st floor Teaching and Learning Innovation Center which support student learning by services Mon-Sat 08.30 AM. – 11.00 PM. Sun 08.30 AM. – 06.30 PM.
