Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with Kagawa University and National Chaiyi University, organized the international academic conference “The 3rd Trilateral Symposium on Sustainability – Strategies for Climate Action and Mitigation of Climate Change Impacts” from August 27 to 29, 2024, at Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai. The event aimed to promote academic cooperation between the three universities, creating networks and advancing research towards international standards. It also provided an opportunity for students to present their work alongside leading scholars from the three universities through Oral Sessions and Poster Sessions across six main sessions. Additionally, the symposium featured SDG-promoting activities under the Student Session, with over 300 participants attending. The opening ceremony was honored by Prof. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D. , President of Chiang Mai University, Prof. Dr. Natsuo Ueda, President of Kagawa University, and Prof. Dr. Chun-Hsien Chang, Vice-President of National Chaiyi University.
